Your first week as a Serval engineer is a luxury vacation. On us.

Your first week at Serval is a vacation.
A paid luxury trip, worth up to $10,000, planned by a concierge service.
Not just a signing bonus. Not a hoodie and a laptop sticker. An actual week off, planned by someone whose job is to make it great.
Why? Because Serval is growing fast and the work ahead is big. We want our new engineers to be rested first. The ambitious builders who will help us chase down our goals deserve to arrive at full strength.
How it works
- 1.You join Serval on our core engineering team or as a deployed software engineer, deployment strategist, deployment success engineer, or an automation engineer.
- 2.You get a dedicated luxury travel concierge. Through our partner, Luxury Concierge Travel, you plan the trip one-on-one, built around your interests and travel style.
- 3.You start rested first. The week is paid, so there's nothing to trade off.
That's it. No catch.
What the trip can look like
Every trip is built around the person taking it. Slow mornings by the sea. A vibrant new city you've never explored. A quiet retreat where the only schedule is your own.
Adventure, relaxation, or a little of both. Your concierge handles the details, from accommodations to experiences, and you just show up.
Rested first
Most people start a new job drained. You close out projects, hand off the work you care about, and land somewhere new trying to sprint on day one.
We think that's backwards.
Working at Serval is an adventure. We’re taking on the biggest incumbent in enterprise software and it’s working:
- Annual recurring revenue has doubled every quarter since our Series B in 2025.
- We’ve raised three rounds in twelve months, most recently a $150 million Series C led by Sequoia at a $3 billion valuation.
- Two Fortune 20 companies have onboarded in the last few months.
- Our team has grown tenfold, and we’re planning to hire more than 500 people over the next 12 months.
We’re moving fast, and shipping to some of the largest companies in the world. We want our new engineers rested first, so they can begin their Serval journey at full strength.
It's also a signal. We hire fewer, better.
The engineers we want have plenty of options. So we’re making the welcome count. We want every new hire to know how much we value them.

Beyond the trip
The vacation is one example of how we invest in the people who make Serval's success possible. We believe an extraordinary career should complement a rich, fulfilling life.
As we grow and chase ambitious goals, we're building a culture where well-being, personal fulfillment, and professional growth go hand in hand. Success isn't only about what we accomplish. It's also about how we live, grow, and thrive along the way.
Refer an engineer, and you both get $30,000
The best way to find a great engineer is to ask a great engineer.
So if a Serval employee refers an engineer who joins, the referrer gets $30,000. So does the new hire.
Same amount, each. We'd rather split it between the two people who made the introduction happen than keep the value for ourselves.
The referral bonus comes on top of the vacation. Both apply to engineering roles only.
